My amazing child,

The way I’m leading you is My way. The path I’ve chosen for you is Mine.

Therefore, you must depend on Me every step of the way. The days of self-reliance have passed. I am your source, your only source. I am jealous for you. I want your heart. I desire your time. I want your full attention.

Look at Me. Listen to me. What am doing? What am I saying?

Don’t you see me smiling? Do you not hear me laughing? Still. I am pleased with you. I am always pleased with you. You are My beloved child in whom I am well pleased. Not because you do everything right. But, because you are Mine.

You are My child. I delight in you. I love being your Dad.

I love teaching you My ways. I love sharing My thoughts with you. I love encouraging you and reminding you of who you are. I do not resent the fact that you need constant reassurance. I love reminding you of all that I’ve accomplished for you.

I love revealing Myself to you. I love showering you with good things and giving you the desires of your heart.

I do not mind proving Myself to you or demonstrating that I am Who I say that I am. I’m the Dad, you’re the child. It’s my joy to provide you with everything you need, including your need to be taught who you are and the kind of Dad that I am.

The world has taught you to fear so much.

But there is nothing to fear, especially Me. I am a patient parent. I am patient with you as you learn to trust Me. I understand your perspective perfectly. I even feel your fears. Remember child, I live in you. I experience things as you do even while I comfort you.

I alone know how to set you free. I alone understand you completely.

I am not angry with you. I never get angry with you. Yes, you fail. Yes, you allow fear to control you at times. But, I am not intimidated by your failures or the spirit of fear. I laugh in the face of fear and delight in watching it disappear.

Learning to laugh when things look the worst is something I’m teaching you to do.

That is why I want you to pay such close attention to Me. It’s so you can do what I do. You are learning to imitate your Father, beloved. You will do the same things that I do. My delight and laughter is your your portion. My pleasure is your inheritance.

So laugh with Me child, laugh. There’s nothing to fear.

Your future is brighter than you’ve dreamed. The path you are walking with on is the way of peace – the wholeness of heaven is yours. Do not doubt that you are right where I’ve led you, even if it looks otherwise. I am with you at the same time I am in you. I can hold your hand at the same time I move through you.

So walk with Me child, walk within Me child. Take the next step that I’m leading you to take.
