There’s a famous Swedish proverb that says, “Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.” I couldn’t agree more. Worry does absolutely no good. It doesn’t solve a thing. It doesn’t change the situation one iota. It’s a complete waste of time. But, Jesus said some incredibly powerful things about worry. He promised that we could experience His peace! And since He’s the Prince of Peace, He’s got more than enough peace to still any storm! As you read through this week’s Kiss from Heaven and watch this week’s video, allow Jesus’ words of life to permeate your soul with His peace. Breathe in His presence and exhale worry. You are safe and secure in Him.
THIS WEEK’S KISS
My Glorious Child,
Don’t be like Martha who was burdened by the cares of this world and too busy to spend time with Me.
Mary chose well. She decided to just sit with Me. I am your oasis. Come and rest in My luxurious love. Drink deeply from the streams of My grace. Drink your fill and allow My presence to wash over you and refresh you.
Then lie back and sink into Me. I will cause the cares of this world to float away.
As you feel the whispering wind of My Spirit, you will hear My words of life. I am all that you need. All that you desire is found in Me. When you seek Me first, above everything else, everything else supernaturally works out.
Worrying is a huge waste of your time. I AM enough!
Instead of worrying, try trusting Me. Trust is a fountain of hope. It overflows with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust Me with every detail of your life. Anytime you feel worried, stop right there and simply become aware of My presence.
You are, right this moment, submerged in an infinite ocean of My perfect love.
Breath in My love as you take your next breath and exhale worry. Take deep, deep breaths of My perfect love and exhale all that isn’t real. The past is gone. The future is not yet. Reality is Me in the now.
I am present in every moment. When you forget Me in the moment, you disconnect from what is real.
I am the great I AM, not the great I WAS, or the great I WILL BE. Of course, I was and I will be, but right now is where you will find Me. Be with Me in this moment. Trust Me in this moment. Then do the same in the next moment and then the next one as well.
Remember child, you cannot worry and be with Me at the same time.
This means that no matter what you have to face or accomplish each day, the single most important task on your todo list, is to remain aware of Me. Abiding in Me is a moment-by-moment reality. And truthfully, this moment is the only real life you have to surrender to Me.
