One of the worst cases of identity theft in the history of mankind has been perpetrated against our Heavenly Father. He’s been portrayed as judgmental, somber, angry, and even fearsome when nothing could be further from the truth! He’s not a fuddy-duddy, stuffy, grumpy God who doesn’t know how to have a good time. No, our Father loves a good party! He’s actually a playful, joyful, and festive guy! God is not upset with you or focused on your sin. You are His joy and delight. You were created for His pleasure and the amount of pleasure He gets from you is not a function of something you do or don’t do. He’s already decided. He’s made up His mind. My Wonderful Child,
I really, really enjoy you. You make Me smile. You bring me great pleasure!
Believe it or not, regardless of how a lot of people perceive me, pleasure is one of My core values. I am not a somber, fearsome, angry Father. No way! I am a God that enjoys life. You might even say I’m the Life of the party!
Remember, I am the One who created everything beautiful, everything lovely, everything pleasurable.
I dreamed up colors, fragrances, delicious food, incredible landscapes, the vastness of space, and every sensual pleasure the enemy has tried to pervert. When I create something, it is simply for the pleasure of it. I love the process of creation. I love brainstorming, dreaming, and collaborating with Wisdom. Holy Spirit is so inventive, unpredictable, and playful. I never know what He’s going to come up with next. He is beyond brilliant!
Together we have pulled off some pretty exotic and impossible ideas. But then again, that should come as no surprise. Look at you!
You beloved, are Our most glorious collaboration. You are heaven’s masterpiece. There’s nothing We’ve ever created that gives Us more pleasure than you Let me let you in on a little secret. Did you know that you’ve already fulfilled your purpose? You’ve already completed your life’s most important mission. You see child, your primary purpose is to be the object of My pleasure.
And, from the moment you were conceived in our Heart, long before you were formed in your mother’s womb, We were overwhelmed with delight!
Truthfully, words do not adequately express the overwhelming pleasure you bring Me. This is why I hid you in Christ. This is why Jesus had to come and redeem you. You simply had to be seated in the heavenly places in Christ by My side.
The fullness of My joy would have been incomplete without you.
The forever pleasures that are at My right hand would have been deficient without you seated there. I know this may seem a little over the top to you, but child, I am not exaggerating. There’s nothing more enjoyable to Me than being your Father.
There’s nothing that brings Me more pleasure than you.
