My Beloved,

Learning to sleep in the midst of storms isn’t optional. 

Especially if you want Me to be free to use you to bring Heaven to Earth and work miracles through you. You simply must have confidence in our union and your ability to hear Me, see Me, and follow My lead. You are going to have to resist the temptation to doubt that you’ve heard My instructions and launch out in faith trusting that I am not only with you, but in you and upon you to empower you, as you “cross over to the other side.”

Of course the enemy may try to cause a storm to resist Us. 

But, don’t be deceived into thinking that the storm is somehow an indication that you didn’t hear Me clearly, or that you’re “out of My will,” or headed in the wrong direction. Instead, recognize it as the opposite of that. Trust that the storm is arising as a confirmation. The enemy is simply resisting Us. 

When you are doing everything you know to do to walk in the Spirit and stay connected to Me, you must believe and trust that I’ve got your back. 

When a storm rises up along the way, there are only two choices – take a nap (in other words, ignore it), or speak to it in faith! But for goodness sake, don’t think that you missed Me, or that I don’t care, or that I’m somehow causing the storm, or that you are out there all alone in the midst of the storm without Me. 

We are on the same team. I am for you, you are for Me, so really, who can ultimately stand against Us? 

It grieves Me to say this, but it’s true: There is a prevailing belief that many of My kids operate under that really hinders My ability in them. It’s the belief that they have to know and operate perfectly in My will in order for Me to move. But, this belief is 100% wrong. I am the Parent in this relationship! 

I am very clear that My kids don’t have a clue most of the time. They are still learning Who I am and how to discern My will. I am very aware of their immaturity and inability to grasp My infinite goodness and wisdom. It is only as My Spirit, the Spirit of Understanding, causes them to grow and mature, that they grow in their ability to know My will. In fact, in Romans 12:2, I explain that My good and perfect will can only be discerned by a renewed mind.

So child, know and believe this… I have unlimited grace for your learning curve. 

My ability is greater than your inability to perfectly know My will. Therefore, if you are doing your best to hear Me and follow Me and a storm arises, take a nap or speak to it! Don’t allow anything that you won’t find in Heaven to have greater authority in your life than My Son’s victory over it at the cross!

I love you. I’m in you. And, I have confidence in the Holy Spirit’s ability to help you cross over to the other side.
