My Dearly Beloved,
“There’s too much on my plate.”
“I’m just so overwhelmed.”
“There’s not enough hours in the day.”
Do you have any idea how often I hear My kids think and say these kinds of things? Of course not, you’re not Me. But, beloved it’s more than you can imagine. So here are My thoughts on the matter…
Like Martha, you are way too concerned about and influenced by what’s going on around you.
Don’t allow the cares and distractions of this world to pull you away from My presence. If you find that you are too busy to be aware of and listen to Me, then take a presence break. Take a few minutes to refocus your awareness on Me. Just say “Hi Dad, I know You’re here with and in me. Help me become aware of You right now.” Then take a few deep breaths and listen for My voice. Let Me refresh and strengthen you with My grace-filled words.
Trust Me My child, until you learn to really walk with Me and practice My presence, your life will feel laborious.
But even in the most stressful of situations, I have called you to rest and abide in Me. You aren’t designed for stress. You aren’t designed to toil. You are designed to abide on the vine, to stay connected to Me, and to draw upon My unlimited grace moment-by-moment.
No matter what you are facing today, My grace is sufficient.
Honestly, it’s not so much what you’re doing as it is your perspective while doing it. My presence makes even the most mundane things glorious. Let me challenge you with this – How would you think differently about your day if you really believed that Jesus was with you in every part of it? Wouldn’t the things that you’re involved in take on a different significance?
Well, My sweet child, Jesus is with you, as am I!
There’s no reason to get stressed out. We’re right here with you, abiding with you, abiding in you. All you have to do is become aware of that and then you’ll be abiding with Us.
I know it seems too simple.
But abiding isn’t complicated. It’s a simple re-shifting of your focus. Then, as your focus shifts, your perspective shifts. Then, as your perspective shifts, your perception shifts. Then, as your perception shifts, your internal atmosphere shifts. And, as your internal atmosphere shifts, stress just melts away.
So, take as many presence breaks as you need My child. I’m not going anywhere. I’m just a thought away.
Kisses from Heaven,
Dad
