In part 2 of, “Are You In Your Right Mind,” we examine the ‘dual nature’ most Christians are confused about when they read Romans 7 and 8.
The reality is, we don’t have a dual nature. The confusion comes from a theological perspective that is not rooted in a Christocentric lens. In other words, a theology that doesn’t look at what Jesus accomplished on the cross from a co-identification perspective.
Many people grow up with a version of the Gospel that is separate from God – that Jesus died for our sins and when we die we’ll go to Heaven, but the rest of our lives is going to be a struggle between our new re-created nature and our old sinful nature.
But we no longer have an old nature. We were co-crucified with Christ. He absorbed the sin-nature. The problem is not that of the old nature, but of the old mindset. The struggle comes from living out of an unrenewed mind, living according to our 5 physical senses and human wisdom rather than living and moving and having our being in God.
This week’s podcast talks about:
- Why we need to renew our minds
- What living by faith really means
- How being spiritually minded materializes the invisible realm
- The science of how our thoughts are creative and impact the natural, seen realm
- How to create on purpose
If you want to change your life, change your thoughts.
