My Glorious Child,

You are unconditionally loved and accepted. There’s nothing you have to do to make this true. And there’s nothing that you can do to change that truth about you. The reason is simple. When I look at you, all I see is Jesus.

Everything I think about Jesus is what I think about you.  

Your acceptance of Christ didn’t change My mind about you. But it must change your mind about you. It’s not enough for Me to love and accept you unconditionally. You must love and accept yourself the way I do.

My unconditional love and acceptance gives you permission to feel the same way about yourself and others.

It also requires you to do so. When you don’t, it is actually a very deceptive and subtle form of pride. Instead of letting Me be the judge of who is worthy of love, you play that role. And when you judge yourself and others as unlovable or unworthy, you nullify everything the cross accomplished.

You start playing the “performance game.” But beloved, in the performance game you always lose!

So stop playing it! Instead start abiding in Me. Step into your true identity in Christ and stop striving to be who you already have become – My beloved! Rest in My unconditional love and acceptance. There’s nothing that you or anyone else has to do to make Me love them.

The cross settled all of that once and for all. In fact, the cross declares, “Love is who I am. Love is what I do!” 

This is why it’s easy for Me to love you, even when you act unlovely. This is why I love My enemies. Love is just what I do. Loving everyone isn’t hard for Me, it’s just who I am. Never ever forget, child. I love people. Every single one of them, and especially you. 

You are worthy of My love, child. You can’t convince Me otherwise. Jesus is My mind made up about you!
