My Precious Child,

Do you know what the cross was all about? I mean do you really know what happened to you when Jesus died?

The Cross of Christ is the happiest place in the universe when you have eyes to see it. It is where everything that is not authentically you was stripped away. It is where every bit of struggle you have experienced was put to death. Where enmity and the notion of separation from Me was done away with. You are one with Me because of what Jesus did. Your “false self” or your “sinful nature” met its final end when Jesus died. 

Jesus died as fallen humanity, He ended sin’s tyranny once and for all. He who knew no sin became sin and died. 

Do you see?! Jesus took on the curse for you, He became a curse for you so that you can be free! I want you to get this revelation, child. Feel it deep in your spirit, envision your old self in the tomb with Christ. He died your death. Consider yourself dead to sin, because you are. All of the fear, depression, anxiety, shame, and yes, even lack and sickness is over! Every negative cycle you have felt stuck in IS OVER! All of this is precisely what Jesus defeated for you as a free gift. The cross was all about Our love for you being manifested in My Son’s broken body.

I know that you still experience the “old you” and feel like that person is very much alive, which is why I want you to “reckon yourself dead to sin!”

This is what renewing your mind is all about, agreeing with Me. You died a real death with Jesus, so you have My permission to tell that anxiety it must go. Tell that depression that it doesn’t belong to you any more. Consider yourself dead to fear. Or tell that crippling doubt that it already died with Christ. You see, you are empowered when you realize your co-crucifixion. You are not defeated but victorious IN Christ! The problem has been solved!

I want you, child, to begin to celebrate like that old you went into the ground with Jesus and didn’t get back up, because it’s true!

This reality is experienced BY FAITH. It might feel silly or awkward at first but what you are doing is agreeing with what I know is TRUE about you! When you begin to live like the Gospel is true, you experience the reality and power of My presence. I don’t like it when fear bullies you or tries to keep you small. You are My child and I created you to shine bright with My glory. You have My permission to believe that there is NOTHING wrong with you. And if you forget, Holy Spirit loves to remind you. 

The cross is where We restored you to yourself. That’s right! You have been restored to your original design.

We knit you together in your mothers womb. I know who you really are even when you forget. I didn’t make someone as beautiful as you for sin. Don’t stress, My child, We have taken care of everything. You get to be you now. Which is what We have always wanted…YOU! You are beautiful and amazing just the way you are, and there is NO sin that is in you holding you back any more. Jesus has removed it as far as the east is from the west. You are One with Us. Think of sin like an old bully and your Dad stepped in and made certain that he won’t be bothering you again!!
