My Precious Child,

I am redefining how you view yourself in light of Christ. There never was and never will be a “you” apart from My Son. 

This is the true meaning of “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” I am stripping off every definition you have had of yourself that is inconsistent with who I revealed you to be in Christ. I am tearing away every label that you and others affixed to you. You see, Jesus came to unveil the authentic you. We created you in Our image and likeness and you have had so many false labels stamped on you. I am removing them all! You cannot identify with the old man and the new man at the same time. As you rest in the new and trust in My Son, you will experience yourself as a new creation. Beating yourself up and trying to change yourself actually blocks you from seeing and experiencing what is already true about you, child. So much has to do with where you put your focus. 

As you know the truth, the truth shall set you free! Knowing is effortless, it means to become aware. Recognize the “old you” died and no longer exists. Christ is now your new life. 

The role of Holy Spirit in your life is to persuade you of the truth. His Name is the Spirit of Truth. We do not demand that you believe enough or else you’re in trouble. No, silly! We give you faith as a gift. Holy Spirit is here to help you recognize that you are completely righteous and new. The Gospel is a scandal because it is all about what My Son accomplished for you and none of your efforts are allowed here. It is called a gift because it is! I am raising your awareness of the truth and strengthening your inner man so Christ may dwell in your heart by faith. I am silencing those tormenting and accusing voices that have kept you small, child! No more!! You will become aware of the truth and you will live in My freedom. 

The Gospel frees you from the prison of your own alienated mind, from the illusion of separation from Me. I am everywhere. How could you possibly be separated from Me or My love?

You co-died with Jesus and were co-raised into newness of life with Him. We did that FOR you. I am causing you to be able to manifest this reality in your life, today, right now, and every day. Salvation means wholeness, child. I made you whole through My Son’s Cross. There is no dirty, separated “you” that still needs work. It is finished. You can rest in My Son’s success on the Cross. It’s a party. A celebration that you don’t have to try so hard. Your efforts are completely unnecessary. In fact, if you try at all to become new, you cut yourself off from grace. You are no longer receiving the Gift when you are trying to earn it or help achieve it. Beloved, see that old you buried with Christ, and see the REAL you alive with Him when He rose from the dead. 

The new you looks like Jesus! You are made in His image and likeness and He came to redeem you, the real you. See that the Cross was a total success!

There never was anything wrong with your design child, but sin had taken you hostage and held you captive. It blinded you from the truth of who you are and caused you to feel separated from Me. Jesus came to destroy that lie and the power sin had over your mind and body. He revealed your true identity, which is what Paul means by “regard no man according to the flesh.” You are a new creation, perfectly restored to the beautiful child We dreamed of. You don’t have to fight old urges and temptations so hard, you can just let them go as you understand that isn’t who you are! You are pure, gentle, loving, full of faith, hopeful, and happy! Why? Because you are one with Jesus, and that’s who He is! The power to live righteously is found in resting in My Son! Let no mindset rob you of your freedom in My Son Jesus. Take another drink of the Happy Gospel, beloved. It is scandalous by design, and it is Good News just for you!
