My Mirror-Image Child,
I know you may not recognize the resemblance a lot of the time, but Jesus reflects your true identity.
He’s both your origin and your destination. You started in Him before the foundation of the world and you’ll forever be one with Him. That’s why trying to be someone you’re not is so confusing and exhausting.
Knowing your true identity is everything. Until you discover it, you’re living in sort of a daze —feeling lost, uncertain, and disconnected from the peace and joy you were meant to experience.
Running around trying to figure out what will make you happy, yet never finding it is beyond frustrating. Relationships are difficult, work is a grind, and your relationship with yourself is based on external things rather than eternal ones.
But recognizing who Jesus is transforms everything.
When Simon responded, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” to Jesus’s question, “Who do men say that I am?”—something powerful shifted. Jesus revealed who Simon truly was. He explained that this revelation didn’t come from flesh and blood but from the Father in heaven.
Then, Jesus did something incredible—He gave Simon a new name and revealed his true identity.
He said, “And I tell you, Simon, you are Peter, the rock, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades (Death) will not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
I am the key to discovering who you are.
Flesh and blood cannot reveal who anyone really is. That’s My job. And I long to reveal so much to you. I want you to know who you truly are—who I created you to be.
Not who men say you are. Not who you think you are. But who you really are.
I want you to see yourself the way I see you. I want you to live confident and free in who I created you to be—free from the opinions of others, including your own.
You’re more glorious than you’ve imagined. You’re anointed to do things that bless others. You matter more than you know.
Not just to Me, Holy Spirit, Jesus and all of heaven, but to all of creation. Something powerful is missing when you don’t know who you are. It’s robbing the planet of My glory that only you can display.
So come to me, child. Let Me reveal Myself to you. Let Me show you how Jesus is the perfect reflection of Me and My love.
As you listen and learn from Me, you’ll begin to see yourself clearly. You’ll begin to recognize yourself as a mirror of Me. This isn’t too good to be true. It’s the gospel, child. Christ in you, Christ as you, Christ through you. His is your true identity—gloriously expressed through My rare and unique masterpiece: you.
Kisses from Heaven,
Dad
